Holiday in Crimea
During the two days train trip from Moscow to Crimea, a song by The Dead Kennedys didn´t stop in my head: Holiday in Cambodia. I know the events happen in Crimea have nothing to do with Cambodia in 70´s. But I wanted to go to check people feelings after the annexation to Russia and see how they live. My surprise was the total normality.
The sudden appearance of armed men in green uniforms, which little by little led to Russian annexation, new flags, new passports - and Western sanctions. For the peninsula's main industry, tourism, this could be catastrophic despite many Russian tourists went to the Peninsula to support the annexation.
